Husaby kyrka (church) was built around the 9th century.
The church is located south east of Kinnekulle and is most know for being the place where Olof Skötkonung
was baptized (in a sacred well, just east of Church.
Olof Skötkonung became the fist truly Christian king in Sweden. Olof
had a Kings Farm near Husaby which he donated to the first bishop's seat
in Sweden.
The church is an unusually large Romanesque church with a high west tower, originally functioning as a defence tower.
