Kruger
National Park is the largest game reserve park
in South Africa. With 350 km from north to south and 60 km from
east to west it covers 18,989 km² of the most north eastern part
of South Africa. It borders to the east to Mozambique.
The park is now a part of Great
Limpopo Transfrontier Park, a huge 35,000 km² (that's larger
than Belgium) area of South Africa, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
The fences between the countries have started to come down allowing
the animals to use their old migration routes.
There's a lot of animals in the park; more than 100 000 Impala,
14 000
Elephants,
10 000 Wildebeest.
