Golden Gate National Park »
Golden Gate Highlands National Park is located in region Free
State, near the Lesotho border.
It covers an area of 340 km² and it is more famous for the
beauty of its landscape than for its wildlife.
Here we found the first vulture restaurant we've seen. A vulture
restaurant according to dictionaries are defined as "a
specific site where animal carcasses, both wild animals of any shape
or size are provided as an artificial source for vultures to provide
a feeding haven for vultures where uncontaminated and safe food is supplied
on a regular basis".
That is many words for "feeding the birds".
