My travels in France have been to Paris and Provence.
France is the largest country by area within the European
Union. There are approx. 60 millions inhabitants and around 12 million
live in Paris and its suburbs.
Provence is a region of southeastern
France at the Mediterranean coast, with a border to Italy. The name
comes from that it was the first Roman
province outside of Italy. There are still many remains from the Roman
era (2nd century BC to 5th century AD) in form of bridges, aqueducts,
fortresses and arenas. |
